Responsibilities/Key Tasks
Ensure proper QA policies and testing coverage is applied to assigned projects and tasks
Participate in the Agile software delivery process by writing, reviewing functional and design specifications, develop and review test cases for API interface, Database as per product requirements.
Coordinate efforts and communication with the developers and other team members to ensure resolution of defects, and manage/triage defects in the bug tracking system like JIRA.
Consult with various cross department team members to review and troubleshoot production issues
Drive automation initiatives including white box scripting and functional automation projects
Execute performance testing for systems and applications under purview
Ensure that products meet or exceed the quality standards by applying knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures
Work with rest of the Quality Assurance and Software Development teams to deploy successful quality processes throughout the software development lifecycle
Prepare detailed test reports and software certifications, produce software release notes.
