Job Description
Systems Analyst HRIS REMOTE; candidate must be local to any U.S. office (Washington, DC, NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Palo Alto, CA). This position is responsible for maintaining the HRIS system, implementing enhancements, ensuring data quality, and providing support for both HR and Payroll groups as they engage in day-to-day activities.
Duties: Support HRIS development projects and semi-annual application upgrades. Assist in developing training materials that document new features for the end-user community. Assist with troubleshooting errors, evaluating calculations/business rules, and researching data inconsistencies. Liaise with HR and Payroll teams to develop reports, construct data extracts and build validation metrics. Help maintain security roles and access rights to contain access to confidential employee data and to ensure security protocols are followed. Engage with IT group to expand integrations between internal and external systems which require employee specific data elements. Seek out best practices aimed at increasing the effectiveness/efficiencies of HR and Payroll functions. Identify opportunities to increase automation of those functions.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; ideally experience in a related role showing progressive growth in responsibilities. Experience with Workday preferred. Ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with superior problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and written communications skills with ability to concisely summarize conclusions/observations.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
