Job Description
Systems Analyst 3E for top tier global law firm. This is a remote position, but candidates must be local to a U.S. office (Washington, DC, NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Palo Alto, CA). Candidate will be engaged in reporting and system administration efforts. Ideal candidate has strong organizational methods, analytical skills, and the ability to pioneer new reporting process efficiencies.
Duties:
Reporting: Generate regularly scheduled analyses and reports for various stakeholders. Design ad-hoc, analyses utilizing industry data, billing and cost structure, etc., utilizing multiple financial databases and reporting tools including SQL, Elite 3E, SharePoint, Crystal Reports, and more.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to increase automation, streamline reporting practices, improve accuracy, and reduce the amount of time required to complete specific tasks.
Integration: Communicate with various stakeholders to clarify and recommend best courses of action for their functional system or reporting needs. Collaborate with various departments to reconcile all relevant information for a specific problem or task. Interpret and verify requirements while observing rules behind the sensitivity of information or functional authority.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, and 1-3+ years in related role with progressive growth in responsibilities.
Solid organizational skills/time management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
SQL and Microsoft Excel skills; proficient in developing scripts and utilizing complex formulas.
Prior experience with data visualization and reporting software is a plus: SSRS, Tableau, etc.
Experience administering SharePoint.
Project Management and Accounting experience is a plus.
Innovative/analytical thinker; superior problem solving skills and a desire to find efficiencies in existing processes.
Proven strong integrator ability; ability to collaborate with various departments and enthusiastically engage stakeholders, earning buy-in/participation to complete projects and deliverables.
Highest level of integrity/good judgment, ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
