Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking an Administrative Specialist to assist in all activities of the front office. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties:
Greet and route all incoming phone calls and visitors to appropriate personnel.
Prepare all international and domestic shipping documents, invoices, and shipment schedules.
Maintain all customer and vendor files, assist in order and data entry, shipping, and receiving as needed.
Back-up the Customer Service Coordinator and Office and Compliance Specialist.
Assist in marketing projects and maintain the front office, kitchen, and conference room.
Train all new and existing employees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have previous administrative experience.
Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, documents, memos, and write correspondence.
Must be highly organized with excellent communication and strong problem solving skills.
Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one, small groups, clients, and other employees.
Must have knowledge of Peachtree Accounting, Access Database, Excel spreadsheet, and Word Processing Software.
Must have basic math skills using all units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
