Job Description
Site Technician needs 1 year experience in manufacturing environment (engineering, technical sales, management)
Site Technician requires:
Associates Degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemistry or related field.
Bachelors Degree is a plus
Proficient in standard Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Site Technician duties:
Attend all client department meetings reporting status of all pretreatment washer operations and projects.
Provide customer service/trouble-shooting at the client locations.
Order and maintain chemical inventory, reconcile yearend inventory and report monthly chemical usage for proper costing.
Track and maintain washer chemical usage logs.
Track and maintain Cost per Unit (CPU) internal reports.
Collect and submit monthly customer production volumes for proper billing per Cost per Unit (CPU) agreement / contract.
Conduct technical training classes for client personnel
Utilize a Process Initiative Program (PIP) to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities identifying qualified cost savings back to customer
Conduct regular monthly communications with assigned sales engineer updating account status
Assist assigned sales engineer conduct an annual business review
Provide standard format pretreatment process manuals and chemical product use instructions per best practices
Liaison with client site personnel from washer operators to supervisors, department managers, quality managers, EHS managers, divisional vice presidents and purchasing
