This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is looking to start a career in an entrepreneurial environment. A reputable economics research company needs an intelligent all-rounder to join our team as a Junior Office Administrator. We specialize in the commodity industry and count some of South Africa’s leading industry players amongst our clients. You must be able to organise and be a stickler for detail. You need to be a pro-active self-starter with initiative and be comfortable with working in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment. Having an interest in technology is important (to be able to help, or learn to help, with ad hoc IT development and troubleshooting). An interest in the world of business and economics will be to your advantage. The successful candidate will be strong in both numbers and organising. Your responsibilities will include finance tasks, assisting with the management of the Access database and IT functions, general research, PA functions, handling reservations and doing general office administration. Minimum Requirements: University degree Proficiency in MS Office and strong numeracy skills a must Understanding of basic IT and be passionate about technology Advantage: Experience with Microsoft Access Experience in Adobe InDesign
