Job Description

Buyer needs 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environment
Buyer requires:
Bachelor’s degree, or demonstrated experience, in business, supply chain or related field, preferred.
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environment
Strong Excel skills and ability to work in a large matrix organization

Buyer duties:
deliver against cost management targets and provide support to the Sites in several activities
Collaborate with operations to define material and service needs
Negotiate and managing purchase orders to meet site demands and purchasing cost savings opportunities.
Ensure adherence to internal procurement performance expectations
Support Site Planning to ensure RM inventory levers (Kanban, min/max, etc..) remain current and accurate •
Ensure supplier lead-time accuracy in demand system And may Include:
Provide information and analysis for make/buy decisions
Negotiate supplier agreements
