Job Description
eDiscovery Advisor - For top tier law firm specializing in Information Governance, eDiscovery and Data Privacy.
Duties:
• Communicate and maintain trusted relationships with team members, clients, business partners and vendors.
• Support client relationships with identification of key issues, review of technical issues, development of strategies and analysis, and presentation of alternatives and solutions to the client representative; support ongoing relationship and follow up on implementation activities.
• Technical expertise with Ringtail, Office 365, Relativity. Sound judgment to develop solutions, provide technical feedback, and impact assessments to internal teams.
• Lead technical (non-legal) aspects of certain engagements and support the technical (non-legal) aspects of other engagements, identifying needs for technical input and provide quality analysis and recommendation of strategies related to the range of elements appropriate to the client situation.
• Perform quality assurance role to ensure high-quality work delivered on time and within scope and budget.
• Support business development initiatives and opportunities and support request for proposals ( RFP )
• Support business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
• Support direct and indirect marketing efforts such as articles, speeches, other PR, webinars, conferences, etc.
• Responsive to client services in a timely manner
• Total Firm core hours minimum commitment:
o Billable Hours Requirement 1560*
o Discretionary Bonus Eligibility-Billable Hours 1620*
Position Requirements:
4+ years of experience in eDiscovery and information governance within a law firm, consulting advisory firm, or corporate management function. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Experience working in and with remote teams. Ability to travel up to 25% - 35% percent of the time. Ability to travel internationally. Proven technical, client management, project plan design, facilitation, and project leadership skills. Solid understanding of business operations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of management, Firm team members, clients, and business partners. Excellent presentation skills. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to function in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
