Attorney - eDiscovery, information governance, data privacy, and data security.
**Fully remote position. Candidate will work with regional, national, and global clients providing innovative, and cost-effective solutions in the eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy service markets.
**Ideal candidate has five years of experience practicing law and experience and interest in eDiscovery, information governance, and privacy.
Position Requirements:
3+ years of litigation experience with state and federal courts.
Excellent research/writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required.
Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external teams.
Able to understand and handle basic day-to-day litigation/IG tasks and skills.
Able to understand the legal and factual issues relevant to each assigned case/matter, tracking the timelines and deadlines for important tasks and events, and learning to engage in client-facing activities.
Exceptional presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
Experience working in and with remote teams.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues.
The motivation to learn and understand technology and findings, effectively discuss those issues with technically skilled individuals, and convey findings for people without technology experience.
Good judgment and the ability to apply legal knowledge to problem solve by developing practical business solutions.
Ability to manage case/project assignments and administrative tasks, with dedication and a positive team-based philosophy.
Admission to the bar in at least one of the following jurisdictions: California; Illinois; Michigan; Minnesota; Oregon; Texas; Virginia; Washington, D.C.
