Job Description

Remote Privacy Manager needs 7+ years’ experience
Remote Privacy Manager requires:
• CIPM, CIPP, CIPT or other privacy certifications
• Proven knowledge and experience with GDPR and HIPAA and general knowledge of CCPA/CPRA and other global data privacy regulations.
• Experience supporting a multi-national company (medical device, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, or healthcare preferred).
• Privacy or compliance accreditation highly preferred (e.g., CDPSE, CIPM, CIPT, CIPP, etc.)
• Fluency and proficiency in privacy preserving methods and technology
• Strong writing skills to assist with drafting and reviewing Privacy Notices, SOPs, contracts, and other privacy materials.
• Strong verbal and presentation skills to facilitate communicating complex topics with diverse stakeholders during training or meetings.
• Ability to use PowerPoint, Excel, Word, or other technologies to facilitate communicating complex information to stakeholders, manage personal workload, and track project details preferred.
• Be detail-oriented, highly organized and independent; capable of managing a wide range of diverse projects with minimal supervision.

Remote Privacy Manager duties:
• Responsible for the development, creation, maintenance and enforcement of the privacy policies and procedures of an organization.
• Ensure compliance with all privacy-related laws and regulations.
• Work to align advanced technologies and Privacy by Design principles from the first stages of development and collaborate with legal and privacy colleagues to ensure that the data processing meets established regulatory compliance needs.
• Collaborate with product and system development teams creating new data processing that employ privacy features.
• Interact with internal privacy program managers, product development teams, legal, compliance, governance, and data protection teams.
• Analyze and provide design requirements for software processing for personal information with a goal of implementing technical solutions to help mitigate privacy vulnerabilities and prevent potential future privacy risks.
• Responsible for assisting with the management of the data privacy, data protection, data usability, patient experience, performance, and the integrity of the privacy solution.
• Respond to data subject rights requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
