Industry certifications such as ITIL, Business Continuity, or Disaster Recovery are a plus.
Technical Continuity Specialist duties:
• Develop and implement technical continuity plans and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues
• Monitor and analyze critical systems and infrastructure to detect potential issues before they impact system availability
• Work with technical teams to identify and prioritize critical systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and manage technical risks
• Develop and maintain documentation of technical continuity plans, procedures, and processes
• Conduct periodic tests and exercises to validate technical continuity plans and procedures
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Work with vendors and technical support teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
• Provide technical support and guidance to technical teams during incidents
