Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Manager who will perform 50% Management and 50% hands-on floor duties. This is a first shift position.

Job Duties:

Handle PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, FMEA, and program CMMS
Maintain and update all quality documentation and manuals; Procedure Manual, Quality Control Manual, etc.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawing interpretation, and design review
Inspect, test, and measure new products
Recommend changes in the assembly or process
Utilize calipers, micrometers, rulers, or gauges
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Must have 5 to 7 yrs experience in a Manufacturing environment; Prefer heavy gauge steel inspection experience
Must have the ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and designs
Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, rules, and gauges
Must be able to work in a team environment, solve problems, and prioritize work
Must understand and follow all policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Must be flexible to work schedule in order to meet production schedule demands
