Warehouse Clerk needs 1+ years’ experience with
Warehouse Clerk requires:
Ability to lift 50 pounds
first shift 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Use a ride on pallet jack
Be able to data enter a transaction with high degree of accuracy ( we will train on data entry routine)
High school diploma required.
Experience in warehouse operations, cycle-counting, and inventory management
Strong communications skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)
Must be computer literate
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
Familiarity with shipping preferred
Must be currently eligible to work for any employer in the United States
Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings
Warehouse Clerk duties:
The movement, storage, tracking, of parts, paper, envelopes and supplies.
Provide required reports to management
Ensure quality services/deliverable to all areas
Ensure warehouse safety
Identify and communicate any warehouse issues/concerns to management.
Off load tractor trailers with their freight deliveries using a battery powered ride on pallet jack (not a walk behind pallet jack)
Review printed packslip provided by trucker and compare to actual freight off loaded
Enter a receiving transaction into our warehouse management system (WMS) prior experience here is key WMS is a good buzz word for recruiting
After completion of transaction, affix labels to each carton and/or pallet of freight
Use a battery powered ride on pallet jack to stage each pallet of freight next to appropriate warehouse aisle
Using a different piece of equipment (a man up turret truck) - locate the pallet into the warehouse racks. We can train on turret truck use
