Job Description

Engineering Technician needs 2 year technical degree or 4 year engineering degree is required.
Engineering Technician requires:
• A minimum of a 2-year technical degree.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated, self-directed personality with the ability to work both independently and with teams
• Strong technical writing skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Fast learner on new software systems
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Maximo a plus
• Experience in Plant/Facilities or Engineering for the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology sector is a plus

Engineering Technician duties:
• Work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to
• Enter new or revise existing spare parts data
• Create, revise, and ensure approval of job plans to improve site’s maintenance programs and to support equipment additions and changes as it may relate to engineering projects, maintenance requests, or continuous improvement.
• Revise Maintenance related Standard Operating Procedures and forms to support the site’s maintenance programs.
• Work in the Document Management System to route documents related to creation of new or revised spare parts, acquisitions, decommissions, etc for review and approval.
• Provide regular status reports/metrics on status of work.
• Ensure work is being completed in a timely manner while escalating any delays.
