Job Description

Define, create, and maintain test plans and strategies for existing and new products with medium to complex testing efforts using Test management tools as Jira, TFS, Mantis and/or Microsoft test management. Execute both manual and automated tests. Troubleshooting and maintaining automated test scripts. Identify and provide feedback on the gap/anomalies in the requirements; Identify and explain risks to non-technical stakeholders. Work with the Engineering Managers, QA engineers, software engineers, and others to drive a test strategy based on Scrum/Agile methodologies and implement best practices. Build testing environments, frameworks, and tools with commanding knowledge of SDLC and testing fundamentals. Understand QA development and testing flow from requirements gathering to creating tests based on those requirements as well as establish testing baselines and creating focus areas of testing. Show continuous reach and establishment of QA practice and deliver test reports. Participate in sprint planning, kickoff, and review meetings. Develop and drive KPIs for objective quality measurements. Apply best practices to create automation for the different aspects of testing. Use automated QA tools, including Selenium, Postman, and/or Fiddler. Apply knowledge of CI/CD operations; Perform API and GUI testing. The position requires applicant to report onsite 5 days a week.
100% on-site position.
5 years of experience in quality engineering, and demonstrated experience in: Test Management tools Jira, Mantis, TFS or Microsoft Test Management; QA testing tools for API testing with Postman, Fiddler or Datadog; Selenium, C# for developing & running QA Test scripts; CI/CD operations; Functional, Non-Functional and GUI testing; Working in an agile environment.
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent based on a combination of education and/or experience as determined by a professional evaluation service) in information systems, computer science, quality engineering, or closely related field.
