Remote Data Modeling/Architect needs 5-8 years of engineering experience in a relevant technical domain

Remote Data Modeling/Architect requires:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Engineering skill set / training / work experience in relevant technical domain
Prefers Framingham, MA
5-8 years of engineering experience in a relevant technical domain
5-8 years of developing ETL solutions using Talend
5-8 years of ERwin specific modeling experience
Agile team experience
Data architect/developer type talent
Experience working with security and enterprise teams for new patterns
DevOps deployment knowledge
Knowledge and experience in Snowflake, Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Talend, PowerBI
Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and best practices ETL concepts and Best Practices
Knowledge of ETL concepts and Best Practices
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements
Experience delivering Features through the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Experience in understanding current state and desired future architecture state, and to determine incremental roadmap
Ability to extend enterprise architecture principles, standards, strategies, policies into product area specific architecture
Data modeling experience required
Cloud database platforms
Experience with source to target mappings and determining needed logic

Remote Data Modeling/Architect duties:
Work independently on projects and tasks
Ability to extend enterprise architecture principles, standards, strategies, policies into product area specific architecture
Capable of analyzing legacy solutions for migration to newer technologies
Provides technical direction for the design of complex and large scale data analytics solutions to effectively meet business needs.
Contributes to the solution design of projects that address business needs, including the analysis of multiple solution options
Partners with the Enterprise Architecture team on the creation of the conceptual architecture that addresses the high level business requirements. Participates in Solution Architecture Review for applicable projects
Authors complex level technical designs that define how the functional requirements will be technically enabled.
Provides guidance to an extended project team related to the solution architecture and technical design. Assists and advises project teams in the configuration, testing, implementation and support of secure technical solutions.
Provides sizing and detailed estimates for complex new project requests.
Consults on design approaches to solving visible and complex business problems.
May mentor other junior team members
