Summary:

• Responsible for the operating of powered machinery, to load and off – load material, deliveries and move the material to and from storage areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre – inspection checklist of machinery before operating.
• Safe handling and storage of materials.
• To ensure the correct material and quantities are verified prior to loading.
• To ensure the maintenance and presentation is in accordance to the pre – inspection checklist.
• Handover inspection to be completed with the operational controller, at the end of each shift.
• Must be able to perform other duties, on an ad – hoc basis pertaining to operational requirements.

Skills Required

• Warehouse experience (advantageous)
• Forklift Licence
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Grade12 Certificate
• Numeracy Skills
• Good understanding of warehouse processes
• Must be able to multi – task
• Time Management

Job Type: Full-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (Preferred)
