Leasing Account Manager needs 3-5 years lease administration, abstraction and lease database experience
Leasing Account Manager requires:
BA in Accounting or JD in Law
3-5 years lease administration, abstraction and lease database experience
Advanced understanding of lease language and terms and ability to abstract lease documents with a high degree of data integrity/accuracy
Prior experience utilizing a lease database
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate Excel skills
SAP skills
Retail industry experience
Leasing Account Manager duties:
Manage the abstraction of primary terms and conditions of new and amended real estate lease contracts
Manages team and all functions related to processing of rent payments for leased real estate locations reconciling and resolving discrepancies.
Works directly with the Legal, Real Estate, Accounting and other key customers in a shared services function.
Manage the lease databases with abstracted information and approved changes
Communicate directly with Legal, Real Estate and Accounting on lease abstractions
Responsible for reviewing and reconciling payments
Respond to sales inquiries and % rent correspondence from landlords, working with Lease Accountants as necessary
Resolves lease interpretation questions and considers the impact of new lease terms, renewals, relocations and property ownership changes on the rent payment process
