The role:
Working with drivers to help them achieve mileage goals and ensure these goals are in line
with organization goals.
Maintain continuous contact with existing customers through e-mails and telephone
Be patient and listen to driver concerns and follow up on them in a timely manner
Review plans sent for each driver prior to dispatching, ensuring it is achievable
Build strong, genuine relationships with clients built on a foundation of trust and camaraderie
Answer customer inquiries and provide information to customers
Coordinate freight, including booking loads and tracking and tracing shipments
Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service to
clients
Communicate any delays or potential service failures in a timely manner to impacted
Operations team members, Customer Service Representatives, as well as Operations managers
so they in turn can communicate to customers and seek resolution
Provide quotes and negotiate terms with customers and carriers
