Job Purpose Summary

Marketing specialist is responsible for the promotion and positioning of our company’s brand and services. This role promotes our brand awareness to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of our company and increasing our sales.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Establishes a detailed marketing calendar to deploy resources and schedule media and promotional activities to address business needs.

Facilitates meetings and brainstorming sessions with other departments regarding marketing requirements.

Maintains databases to track information, measure, monitor, and analyze corporate marketing programs, campaigns, and initiatives.

Prepares presentations for the management, ensures consistent corporate messaging and writes, edits and proofreads print and electronic materials for internal and external distribution.

Develop and implement an annual social strategy that inspires, engages, and drives awareness.

Coordinates the production of print or multimedia materials for corporate programs by assigning, checking, and overseeing the graphic design.

Helps create and schedule newsletter campaigns, looking for new ways to optimize our online marketing efforts.

Ensures that corporate logos, trademarks, and copyrights are used in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

Post-secondary education is required;

1+ year experience in marketing or related occupation is preferred;

Experience in construction or related industry is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Good marketing sense and the ability to motivate and lead a team

Requires good communication skills and people skills

Proficient planning and organizational skills

Able to multi-task and maintain high level of attention to detail

Highly responsible & reliable

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, 35 hrs/week

Salary: $25.50 per hour
