At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented General Supervisor to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
• Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
• Position: General Supervisor-building construction (NOC: 72021)
• Number of positions: 2
• Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
• Wages: $36.00/hours and 40 hours/week
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
• High School Education is required
• 4 - 5 years of experience is required
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers and trade persons
• Establish methods to meet work secludes and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Hire and arrange training for new construction workers
• Ensure that health & safety measures are being followed
• Prepare estimates for material, supplies and labour cost
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Order equipment, materials and supplies
• Prepare production and other reports
