Director of Marketing Technology for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. *This is a hybrid-remote position with some in office work. The ideal candidate has technology expertise with the ability to evaluate platforms and make investment recommendations. This role supports Business Development through digital and marketing technology enhancements, development, and implementations to support strategic growth plans. A successful candidate will leverage successful knowledge sharing and content strategy projects to maintain momentum of digital marketing success. Focus for this role includes branding, content marketing campaigns, data science, and marketing technology platforms, Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM), marketing automation, experience, website, blogs, Digital Asset Management.
Duties: Collaborates with marketing leadership to assess current capabilities against longer term objectives and formulates five year roadmap. Benchmarks current marketing activities, performance, and investment against industry best practices. Evaluates new technologies and add-on applications to improve/optimize Marketing & BD team performance. Partners with other departments to advance initiatives. Manages technical aspects of key marketing technology systems. Creates/maintains metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact. Refines brand strategy through use of templates, style guides, graphic design, and governance. Oversees design team producing marketing collateral, and digital marketing team. Manages department technology and brand/design budget, including quarterly variance tracking.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. At least ten years’ experience in law firm and professional services marketing. Advanced knowledge of marketing technology platforms and products, including Salesforce, Sitecore, Tableau, Pardot. Proactive in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and key firm initiatives. Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Successful supervisory/management skills. Proven financial/budgeting skills. Keen analytical and strategic thinking skills.
