Job Description
Position: Behavior Interventionist
Type: Part-time
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Schedule: Flexible hours, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with individuals with autism and related disorders
Implement and apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with supervisors and other professionals to develop and implement behavior plans
Create and maintain a positive and engaging therapeutic environment
Facilitate individualized play-based and structured teaching sessions
Document and report on behavioral progress and challenges
Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions
Requirements:
Availability for a minimum of 3 weekday afternoons
Creativity and a fun approach to teaching through play
Dependability and reliable transportation to client locations
Physical capabilities for activities such as bending, standing, and running
Successful completion of a background check
