Job Description

Marketing/Communications Manager REMOTE for a highlyregarded law firm. This role supports strategic marketing initiatives, andvisibility of the firm, and reports to the CMO. Duties: Creating marketing materials, managing the clientrelationship management (CRM) database, overseeing website maintenance,handling social media activity, supporting digital marketing, drafting content,conducting market research, providing conference/event support and promotion,and other related activities. This position is mostly remote role but should be availableto work in the Northern Virginia office 1-day per week. Duties:Support marketing and communication strategies, plans, projects, and brandedevents. Support development of collateral materials; practice descriptions,attorney biographies, website content, and proposal content. Develop pitch and proposal materials. Assist in themanagement of digital marketing projects. Manage website. Ensure content postedon the website is current, and accurate. Update the website regularly withnews, experience, thought leadership, and biographies. Manage CRM databaseand marketing interface, including maintaining client information, reviewingand creating mailing lists for firm outreach and events, supporting searchesfor business development initiatives, and preparing various reports, includingbusiness development activity reports. Support thought leadership and publicrelations activities that further the Firm’s strategic goals. Assist inidentifying and organizing profile-raising activities of the Firm and itsprofessionals, such as thought leadership opportunities including but notlimited to byline placement, client alerts, events/webinars, communityinvolvement, conference involvement, rankings, and directories. Execute events,seminars, webinars, meetings, and speaking engagements within prescribedtimelines and budgets. Organize internal meetings and events for business andprofessional development. Identify prospective awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal500), track deadlines, coordinate the application PositionRequirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Strong organization, and detailskills. Strong client service orientation with ability to collaboratesuccessfully within a professional organization. Excellent digital marketingunderstanding, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills,online research capabilities, experience with marketing systems, and thrive ina fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to analyze data and usemultiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations. Musthave at least 6+ years of marketing/communications experience in a law firm environment.Supervisory, managerial, and/or project management experience. Good systems anddatabase skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRMapplications. Attention to detail and an eye for design and presentation. Salaryis commensurate with experience.
