Financial Analyst REMOTE For prominent global law firm. This position supports processes/projects in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Duties: Budget/Forecast/Compensation Planning: Assists with creation of data templates for lawyer review processes. Reviews and supports month-end processes, including FTE and headcount calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with systems. Contributes to competitive benchmarking analyses and surveys. Facilitates initiation of annual budgeting process by developing revenue, cost, and other assumptions. Prepares materials/analyses for Budget Committee meetings. Assists with maintenance of budgeting/forecasting applications.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics). Some prior experience in an analytical position in a professional firm or law firm. Strategic and analytical thinking, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. Proactive, motivated to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. High level of integrity/good judgment can handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced IF statements). Proficient in developing complex formulas and using advanced-level features. Prior experience maintaining Budgeting/Forecasting software applications ideal. Salary is commensurate with experience.
