Job Description
Treasury Manager for top tier global law firm. This is a day to day remote position, but candidate must live within commuting distance of the DC office and attend quarterly in office meetings. This role is focused on reporting cash flow, and debt, and is the lead regarding relationships with banks/lenders.
Duties: Implement/manage cash forecasting models, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements, and secure financial operations by monitoring/approving financial processing, managing numerous impress and trust accounts. Design/maintain/enhance cash forecast reporting, presenting insights to senior management. Manage foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate risk management programs. Recommend hedge positions, placing trades and/or confirming terms and conditions, and reporting. Develop/maintain department procedures and internal controls. Oversee cross-border transactions, including international payments and foreign exchange, and manage international bank accounts to ensure compliance with currency controls. Continuous improvement of treasury processes, systems, and technologies. Create visualizations and reports on liquidity, funding sources, FX exposure and other key treasury metrics reporting. Track and report on operating/capital leases, credit line usage, and letters of credit. Support annual audits by providing information and responses to auditors. Ensure compliance with bank credit agreement(s), including regular collateral reporting.
Position Requirements - Bachelor’s degree required. Must have at least 3 years of progressively responsible treasury management experience. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred. Strong understanding of international banking regulations and practices. Extensive knowledge of ACH, Wire, SWIFT, and various global payment methods (BACS/CHAPS/SEPA). Strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial processes. Strong analytical skills. Experience building reporting dashboards in Tableau (or similar software). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salary is commensurate with experience.
