At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
• Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
• Position: Electrician (NOC: 7241)
• Number of positions: 5
• Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
• Wages: $30.00/hours and 40 hours/week
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Requirements:
• High School Education is required
• 3 to 4 years of experience is required
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts
• Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic system and remove and replace faulty components
• Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternations, industrial storage batteries
• Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling system
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• Must report any unsafe conditions and incidents
