Responsibilities
Preparation and Review of Group monthly consolidated accounts, quarterly report and reporting to Bursa.
Supervise overseas subsidiaries finance team in daily accounting/finance work and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.
Examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Manages overseas subsidiaries managerial reporting & analysis requirement to support sound managerial decision making and strategic business management.
Support budget development and control, variance analysis and cost related analysis and provide sound recommendations
Preparation of yearly group budget and forecasts.
Ensure overseas subsidiaries internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting / requirements.
The job requires close liaison with auditors, directors, government regulatory bodies, company secretary and tax agents on behalf of the Company.
Requirements
Must possess at least a Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA/ASCPA).
Preferably Managers specializing in Finance / Accounts / Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
Ideally 10 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow management and financial forecasting.
Independent, mature and good in organization skills.
Based in Melaka and willing to travel overseas when required.
