Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria: FINANCIAL CLERK
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presentable Afrikaans speaking female
-Afrikaans and English first & second languages a must
-Matric / Grade 12
-Recent experience as a Finance Clerk a must
-Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions a must
-Familiar with financial regulations (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) etc.)
-Computer literate in MS Office (Pastel proficiency preferred)
-Attention to detail, with organizational and multitasking abilities
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
-Reliability and strong work ethics, able to solve problems, strong Mathematical skills
-Stable employment record and contactable references
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Assist Financial Manager and Chief Executive Officer with various financial administrative tasks and ensure accounting procedures run smoothly
-Keeping financial records
-Preparing bills and delivering high-quality customer service
-Process receipts and other documents
-Ensure all documents are properly signed and distributed
-Verify financial and other data, monitor financial transactions
-Filing, data capturing and maintain updated records
- Bank reconciliations and assist with account reconciliations
-Communicate with vendors, customers and colleagues
-Report the status of accounts and discrepancies
-Capturing supplier invoices and prepare monthly reconciliations for payments
-Issuing purchase orders and stock control
-Assist with month-end processes
-Stationary control and distribution of stationary orders to sites
-Assist with reception and general administration
Salary: R 15 000.00 gross (not negotiable)
