Full Time Telecommunication Engineer
SALARY $76000 per annum

DUTIES
• Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment (e.g., routers, Switches, sockets).
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on Telstra & NBN network hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and repair network issues on-site.
• Conduct site surveys to assess network performance and coverage.
• Use testing equipment to diagnose and resolve network problems.
• Optimize network performance through adjustments and improvements.
• Document network configurations, changes, and issues.
• Prepare detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions.
• Update and maintain network diagrams and schematics.
• Work with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to complete Network projects.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors for equipment procurement and Troubleshooting.
• Ensure network designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Install and configure telecommunications equipment (e.g., telephones, Modems, networking hardware).
• Set up and maintain communication lines and connections.
• Diagnose and repair faults in telecommunications systems and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Provide on-site support for customers experiencing telecommunications issues.
• Offer technical assistance and answer customer questions.
• Test and calibrate telecommunications equipment to ensure proper Functionality.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical problems.

Relevant qualification
