Maintenance Supervisor - WOOD Industry

Salary up to $120,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to ALABAMA

(Wood, plywood, OSB, hardwood, Particle Board, lumber, etc.)

This leading wood industry manufacturer has an immediate need for a Maintenance Supervisor. You’ll lead a team of maintenance technicians and guide them as the department transitions from reactionary to preventive maintenance programs to focus on reducing unscheduled downtime.

To be considered for this Maintenance Supervisor position, you’ll need to experience in Wood, plywood, OSB, hardwood, Particle Board, lumber, etc., manufacturing industry.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you need to have hands-on experience in using, implementing, and able to train others in Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Reliability programs. You will need to be able to demonstrate and teach maintenance staff.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead and direct the team to ensure maintenance work is completed in a safe and timely manner. You’ll promote safety compliance, Continuous Improvement, and maintain efficient work standards.

We are looking for candidates with a BS degree in Engineering or Technology but will consider equivalent experience in the WOOD Industry.

Minimum requirements for this Maintenance Supervisor position:
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in the wood industry
• At least 3 years of Supervisory / Management experience
• Experience implementing predictive/preventive maintenance programs
• Team leaderships skills ability to lead, inspire, teach, and motivate.
